Victor Mayer founded his company in Germany in 1890 he became an expert in the use of traditional techniques like authentic fire enamel and guilloché engraving. The company produced Fabergé jewelry under license from 1925 until 2009 and has preserved historical artisan techniques. His techniques cannot be learned in a vocational school – but only from their master craftsmen and women. To this day the company regards the most important task of Victor Mayer to be keeping their craftsmanship alive and conveying its inherent magic.
